This is at the graduation. I was not able to be there, and these are the 2 pics that Jake took, bless his heart. Daces part was about T-Rex, He loved this part and was so excited to be able to say it. Jake said he did a really good job.
So cute! Poor Jake! He had a lot on his mind, and was probably feeling a little overwhelmed. Dace looks like he wasn't shy at all. Did he think it was funny to shake Grandpa's hand? Crew already looks like he is getting bigger. I am so glad he is such a good baby for you. Thanks for posting again!
We went to the graduation but we missed seeing you and Crew by just a minute or two. He looks really cute and we hope to see him in person soon:) Dace looks like he is having a wonderful time being a big brother!
Those kids always look so cute in their cap and gowns. I am sad I won't have a picture like that of my girls. I wish we could have seen Dace do his part. mom said he did a great job. He looks so cute!
He looks so cute. I can't believe that we all have kids that are old enough to be in mom's preschool. I bet Dace did really good on his part. He loves those dinosours.
I got to go to the practice graduation at mom's house that day, and I went down and sat with the kids and even participated in the dancing and singing of the songs, and Dace made sure that when it was time to stand up that I stood up with the kids. Then that night I was standing off to the side of the stage trying to hide behind the curtains making sure all the kids stayed in line, and it was time to sing, "Oh please Mr. Zebra" and Dace looks over at me and in a regular tone of voice says, "Remember MOKE you are supposed to sing with us?!" I just quickly shook my head and told him to turn around. Needless to say some of the audience that heard laughed and I was a little embarassed. He wasn't shy at all. He did do a really good job on his part and singing the songs.

Dace told me he had a really good idea for a costume for Halloween. He said I know I will be the only one. Interested what his little mind could come up with I asked what it was that he had thought of. He said I want to be Heavenly Father.
Greasy
We were giving Crew a massage after he had a bath with some baby massage oil. Dace asked me."Is the oil really greasy?" I said,"Yes it is". He then asked me,"Is is as greasy as a grilled cheese sandwich from the Grub Box"?
Sacrament
Dace asked me yesterday at church, while the sacrament was being passed," Mom do you think that Heavenly Father would change his mind, and let us have 4 pieces of bread instead of just 1 "?
Dace woke up Sunday morning and asked me what day it was. I told him it was Sunday, and then the complaining about him not wanting to go to church began. He fussed for a while and then he said to me, "Mom I cannot go to church today". I replied "Why not honey?" He said, "I have the fluid". Not quite sure what he was talking about I said,"What is the fluid?" In almost a believable face he said,"You know, the throw-up and the diarrea.
Jake and I have been married for almost 6 years. We have two beautiful boys. Dace 4 and Crew 4 months. They keep us very busy. We love them so much and could not imagine life without them.
We were sitting at Grandma's house and I was talking with Grandpa and Grandma about having some cookies. Dace said I dont really care for cookies. I would rather have crackers and cheese or some cashews or something like that. We laughed, because he could take or leave sweet snacks and chocolate most of the time. I said to him you are definatly not my child. Dace looked and me and said, but I am a Child of God huh mom. It is nice to know that something at church is sinking in. I am so glad that he knows that he is a Child of God.

That is so funny. He is not shy about saying things when he wants to and not in a quiet voice wither.
